Privacy Policy

ListenFlow is intended for teachers, tutors, schools, and adult learners who create or complete language-learning activities. Where students are minors, the teacher, tutor, school, parent, or guardian assigning activities must have authority to invite the student and provide any required notices or consents.

Teachers and schools are responsible for deciding what lesson material is appropriate for their class and for reviewing generated exercises before assigning them.

ListenFlow may send lesson source text, transcripts, teacher instructions, and related lesson context to AI providers to generate exercises, explanations, or other teacher-support features. AI outputs are teacher-assistive drafts and should be reviewed by teachers before use with students. Do not include highly sensitive personal information in prompts, lesson content, or student responses.

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on contract necessity to provide accounts and lessons, legitimate interests for security and service reliability, consent for optional analytics, marketing pixels, and external media embeds, and legal obligations for billing/tax/compliance. Providers may process data in the United States and other countries using contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the provider relationship.

We share information with service providers only as needed to run ListenFlow, including hosting, database, authentication, error monitoring, optional analytics after consent, AI processing, transcript extraction, email delivery, and payments. PostHog or a similar analytics provider may process privacy-safe product events if analytics is accepted. Meta may process Pixel events only if marketing consent is accepted; Google/YouTube may receive data when media embeds are allowed. See the Subprocessor List for the current provider list.

Teachers, schools, parents, and adult learners may request export or deletion of account, lesson, or student data by using the contact page and including the account email, school or organization if applicable, and the nature of the request. We will authenticate the requester and coordinate with the teacher or school where required. See the Data Retention Policy for default periods.

ListenFlow uses access controls, row-level authorization patterns, consent-gated analytics, route-template analytics, redaction of sensitive tokens and response content in analytics and Sentry, and operational monitoring. Sentry keeps default personal data collection disabled and Replay is disabled unless a future explicit consent model is reviewed. No online service can guarantee absolute security. See the Security Overview for more detail.
